Robert Stubbs

Robert, "Bobby," Stubbs graduated from St. Jane de Chantal School in 2004 and Gonzaga College High School in 2008. He was Assistant Organist at St. Jane’s from 2007–2008 and returned in the fall of 2017.  

In addition to playing for the Saturday 5pm Mass and working with members of the Cantor Guild, Bobby is Organist and Associate Director of Choral Music at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA. He also serves as Director of Music and Organist at All Souls Episcopal Church in Washington, DC. He was most recently Organ Scholar at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in San Antonio, TX.  Highlights at St. Mark’s included assisting with the RSCM based children and youth choir programs, accompanying Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb, and accompanying for choir residencies in England at Durham Cathedral and St. Albans Cathedral. Prior to working in Texas, he was Music Intern at West End United Methodist Church in Nashville, TN. He has performed solo organ recitals in Washington, DC, Beaufort, SC, St. Louis, MO, Alexandria, VA, and Princeton, NJ.  He earned Bachelor and Master of Music degrees, both in organ performance, at Westminster Choir College and Indiana University respectively.  His teachers have included Alan Morrison, Janette Fishell, Bruce Neswick, and Robert Brewer.
