A United DeChantal Community

At 7:00 pm on Thursday evening, July 14, 2022, DeChantal school and faith formation families led by Michelle Flynn, gathered outside of the church to pray a rosary. As word got out about the arson and vandalism, a few parish moms thought the best weapon against hate is prayer. Parents wanted to come together to show Fr. Giese and Mrs. Hamilton their support after the attack on our church. After email chains went around to school and faith formation families, over 100 adults and children of our parish gathered and prayed the Rosary honoring the Luminous Mysteries. Decades were led by DeChantal school moms, a DeChantal teacher, and Faith Formation catechists. Intentions were made for our priests, staff, teachers, parents, children, and the parish. Popsicles were enjoyed by all after the beautiful experience.
