Winter Clothing Drive and Sandwiches Collections (Nov-Dec)

The group of parish volunteers who collect sandwiches each Friday morning from 9:00 to 9:15 am in the St. Jane De Chantal Church parking lot, are also accepting donations of Winter Clothing items such as: Sweatshirts and sweatpants (L, XL and XXL) Hats, Gloves, Scarfs, Backpacks While new items would be ideal, gently used items will also be accepted. These winter items, along with prepared sandwiches (both peanut butter & jelly and meat and cheese), and fruit and protein bars will be delivered to local organizations that assist the poor and homeless in our area such as S.O.M.E., the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless, and Shepherd’s Table. Over the last 4 years since the pandemic, the Sandwich Ministry have provided more than 125,000 sandwiches, however the need in each of these organizations continues, especially during these cold winter months.
